What Genre of music will your magazine cover?
My music magazine will cover Hip-hop but the core focus of
it will be Grime.
Who is the target audience? How old are they? Where do they live? What are
their interests?
My target audience will be young adults, the age range will
be between 16 and 24. The geographical region will be London because this is
the birth place of grime and will have most fans of the genre living there.
Their interests will be music related for example in grim and hip hop they talk
about money clothing cars etc.
What is the name of your magazine? Why? Connotations?
The name of my magazine has not currently be decided but it
will be centred around grime and the lifestyle of the artists from the genre.
The connotations of the name will be very important I do believe by using a
type of idiolect used in London will lead to the most.
What Mise en scene will be required? Locations? Clothing? Make up? Lighting?
Use of colour?
The clothing used will be stereotypical to the genre e.g.
hoodies, dark clothing, jewellery baggy. The use of colour will be important
also because of the genre but I will have to stick with dark colours to
represent the culture of the music.
